STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES
The major objectives of the Society are geared towards the advancement of meteorological science in Kenya and the promotion of its understanding by the Kenyan society in this period. In this respect it will strive to achieve the following broad cross-cutting objectives:

• Engage actively on climate change issues;
• Promote greater interest in weather and climate;
• Partner with other scientific organisations, institutions etc; both inside and outside the country especially those related to meteorological field for efficient and effective exchange of knowledge in meteorology;
